Mobile Magazine loves Orb Media for what it is capable of, but tells us we have more work to do on the interface (we are hard at work on this! so stay tuned!) Here is what they have to say, in part...
"We've long harbored the dream of being able to access all our media no matter where we go. But since there's no media player with half a terabyte of storage, that dream has been out of reach. Orb Networks' new product aims to change that..."
"This is pretty damn cool. Overall, the quality of the audio and video we streamed was stunningly good, and much better than we expected."
"But here's the bad part: The user interface falls well short of the technology behind it. Orb's web-based interface uses small, cryptic buttons for key functions such as adding a song or video to your favorites list, or even playing a file. You'd think that there would be a big red button that says "Play," but instead it's a small button at the far upper right of the screen."
